help them.   I was very glad when IAAC found an orphanage for boys to place them. Now they are safe, and they are going to school. 

 

I pray every day so God can continue to help IAAC and everyone who helps them to take care of me and all the other kids in the village.

My name is Mysterline, and I am 15 years old.  I am the oldest of four children.  IAAC has been a life saver for me and my two younger brothers. We have been eating at the IAAC center since I was 9 years old. IAAC also used to give food and medicine to my 2-year old sister when she was alive.  My sister and my mother died of HIV/AIDS four years, and my father also has AIDS.

 

After the death of my mother, IAAC became like a parent to us.  They continue to give us food every day, they put us in a good school, and give us clothes, shoes, and toys whenever we need.  My brothers have had a very difficult time coping without my mom.

 

Last year, my father put my brothers out of the house, and they were sleeping in the streets.  I was very scared and sad for them, because I have been taking care of my brothers since I was very young.
